Apple iPad Tops Samsung Galaxy Tab In First Month Sales-Tops

Since it’s arrival to our stores, the Apple iPad has proved itself worthy, not just with a fantastic appearance and easy portability but features to match. But now with the offering of the Samsung Galaxy Tablet are customers more than likely to steer towards this. Looking at first monthly sales figures this should be more than enough to convince us!

On a recent look into figures sourced from The Korea Herald, it clearly shows a definite trend in people buying the iPad compared to the Galaxy Tab. AppleInsider reported that in less than a month after launch date, Apple‘s device sold a huge one million just in America, in relation to Samsung’s Galaxy Tab selling 600,000 worldwide in one month.
In Samsung’s defence, on releasing their offering, consumers had the added benefit of it being available on four of the biggest wireless carriers such as Verizon and AT&T, using the first Android mobile OS, and it had already broken the ice in Italy and then America. It is safe to say that up until now, Samsung has been able to offer their customers the tablet form without delay, compared to that of the iPad where back in April/May time, Apple were finding it difficult to keep up with increasing demand for the device. Good news, that the tablet is so popular, not so good for Apple’s reputation.
With Christmas clearly on the horizon now, and news of retailers such as TJ Maxx and Marshall’s selling the iPad for a mere $399, will sales figures rocket above its counterparts?
